Remember how excited we were to find out that documentarian Mike Jansen is making a film about Dr. Larry Einhorn in Indianapolis, who cured testicular cancer? Well, guess what feisty little NW nonprofit is going to be a *partner* in the film? THIS one! Details to come, contract to sign, but this is going to be BIG. With your help! Watch this space…

*Some* of you may have heard that scrumptious, fresh, from-scratch pie is one of our specialties.  Well, now, you don’t have to wait for the Family Jewels 5K to get one for yourself!

You name it, we’ll bake it!

Prices:  Full-size pie:  $30+donation (most people pay $50).
4″ diameter pie (nice for two people):  $10+donation.
Mini-pies (2.5″ in diameter):  6 for $5.00+donation.

Funds raised go to the Family Jewels Foundation (formerly known as the Jaimeson Jones Memorial Scholarship). FJF provides scholarships for families affected by childhood cancer and educates about early detection of testicular cancer, the #1 cancer of men ages 15-44.

This October, the Testicular Cancer Summit, in  Denver, Colorado, will be “Bringing Survivors, Caregivers and Experts Together for a Weekend of Awareness, Education and Support.”  I am so proud to have been chosen as one of the speakers, where I will share the story of Jaimeson Jones’ legacies of teaching early detection of this curable cancer and providing college scholarships to families who have endured childhood cancer.

Stay tuned for more amazing contributions by this Summit!
