This October, the Testicular Cancer Summit, in Denver, Colorado, will be “Bringing Survivors, Caregivers and Experts Together for a Weekend of Awareness, Education and Support.” I am so proud to have been chosen as one of the speakers, where I will share the story of Jaimeson Jones’ legacies of teaching early detection of this curable cancer and providing college scholarships to families who have endured childhood cancer.
Stay tuned for more amazing contributions by this Summit!
“Surviving Cancer Without Going Broke.” Very important article about the ever-rising costs of cancer treatment and its impacts on family financial security and survivorship.

Time for the reveal of our recent teaser! Here’s what YOU did with your support of the Family Jewels 5K: We will be awarding THREE scholarships to kids who have siblings who have had cancer, for an awesome grand total of $10,000!! We are ECSTATIC.
And, all three of those scholarships are renewable for three additional years, helping to alleviate *throughout* these students’ college careers the financial burdens of three local families devastated by childhood cancer.
For your reshared posts, for your Facebook Likes, for your online donations and checks and cash, for your drenched support as runners, walkers, sponsors, and volunteers, we have two words:
THANK YOU ❤️👏👍🏻
Jaimeson Jones Memorial Scholarship
On March 11, 2017, 148 loyal and brave souls splashed their way through our 7th annual event. A good time was had by all! There was plenty of pie, thanks for volunteers extraordinaire, awesome raffle prizes, medals and ribbons and, for the first time ever, merchandise, thanks to Mister T’s Awards & Embroidery in Mt. Vernon. You name it, we put a logo on it.
Don’t worry if you missed the FJ5K this year – we will soon be adding online shopping of our awesome logo items. Stay tuned!
Most exciting of all, we exceeded our $10,000 goal by over $1,000 – and as a result we will have some Very Exciting News…soon. So far, we have to keep it a secret, but it’s going to be EPIC.
